We will never sell your personal information

Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. Equiox will never sell, rent, license or otherwise commercialise your personal financial information for advertising, marketing or data brokerage purposes. Your data belongs to you, always. Our subscription model exists so that we never need to monetise your privacy.

What we collect

• Information you give us: such as your email address when you join the waitlist, and anything you share when you contact us or, in future, create an Equiox account.
• Information collected automatically: such as IP address, device and browser type, and general usage data collected via standard analytics and hosting infrastructure when you visit our site.
• Financial and asset data you choose to connect: once the Equiox platform launches, if you choose to link accounts, portfolios or other assets, we will collect what's needed to display and analyse that information for you. We'll publish a dedicated, more detailed policy covering this before that feature becomes available.

How we use your information

• To operate, maintain and improve the Service, including the waitlist;
• To communicate with you about your waitlist position, launch updates and product news;
• To provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
• To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security or technical issues;
• To comply with our legal obligations.

How we use artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence helps explain financial information, identify trends, organise data and answer questions. It has clear limits:

• Artificial intelligence does not make financial decisions on your behalf.
• Artificial intelligence does not replace licensed financial advice.
• Artificial intelligence should always be considered alongside your own judgement and, where appropriate, professional advice.

Your data remains yours

You retain ownership of the information you choose to provide to Equiox. Where technically possible, you can:

• Export your data;
• Delete your data;
• Disconnect connected services;
• Close your account.

We believe you should never feel trapped inside a financial platform.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Equiox, under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it solely to provide services to us. These providers currently include infrastructure, hosting, database, payments and email-delivery services. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to your information.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember basic preferences, and understand at a high level how the site is used, so we can improve it. Nothing scary: no advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling for ad targeting. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Security

Protecting financial information is fundamental to Equiox. We employ modern security practices, including encryption during transmission, encryption where appropriate at rest, access controls, authentication safeguards and continuous monitoring designed to reduce security risk. Security is continually reviewed as the platform evolves. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Waitlist data is retained until launch plus a reasonable period thereafter, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. This policy is written to align with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). International data transfers

As a global service, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including Australia. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred internationally.

General information only

Equiox provides educational information, market commentary, data visualisation and analytical tools. Equiox does not provide personal financial advice, investment advice, taxation advice or legal advice. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions, and should seek advice from appropriately licensed professionals where appropriate.

Responsible use

To protect our users and the integrity of the platform, Equiox reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, unauthorised access, attempted security breaches, abusive behaviour, automated scraping, prohibited reverse engineering, or illegal activity. We may cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

Children's privacy

Equiox is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page or by other appropriate means. Last updated: 3 July 2026.
